It’s been 195 days since the Minnesota Timberwolves last played 5-on-5 basketball. When the Wolves season was shuttered after their final game in Houston on March 10th, league protocols have prevented them from gathering in groups to, well, play basketball. But as of today, September 21st, the Wolves are back at it.
Along with the other seven teams who were not invited to the Orlando Bubble, Gersson Rosas and Ryan Saunders have been permitted to put together what is being called the NBA’s In-Market Program, which is functionally just a bubble in downtown Minneapolis at Mayo Clinic Square.
