The Minnesota Timberwolves did an excellent job of retooling their roster at the February trade deadline. Shipping out D’Angelo Russell and bringing in the more experienced veteran Mike Conley has proven to be a home run move for the franchise. Getting Nickeil Alexander-Walker as well was the cherry on top.
With the end of the Timberwolves’ season on April 25, Minnesota became eligible to once again make trades with other teams. It is unlikely they complete any new deals before the NBA Draft on June 22, but anything is possible with how in-demand Karl-Anthony Towns is.
