Bones Hyland's shocking season keeps getting crazier

It was late in the offseason when the Minnesota Timberwolves officially re-signed guard Bones Hyland. Many wondered why that was the move Minnesota wanted to make, especially since he only got into four games for the team after signing a two-way contract with them last February. Hyland also fell out of favor in his previous stops, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers.

For much of the season, Hyland has remained firmly in the rotation, not something that was expected heading into the year. After the trade for Ayo Dosunmu last week, it was thought that he might take the 25-year-old’s backup point guard minutes.
