In an 82-game season, even the best of the best NBA players are bound to have a few off nights by their standards. Anthony Edwards is certainly in that group of the game’s top players. While he’s in the midst of a rough stretch, it’s a good sign that the Timberwolves are still finding ways to win, as they have in their last two outings.
Winning even when Ant-Man is not at his best
Minnesota improved to 10-5 on the season with its 120-109 victory over the Wizards on Wednesday night. Julius Randle led the way with 32 points, while Naz Reid continued his excellent play after a slow start to the season with 28 of his own.
