At one point in the summer, soon after Kyrie Irving demanded a trade, it was rumored Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns were forming an alliance of sorts to push for Andrew Wiggins to be traded for Irving.
While that never even came close to happening, some fans wondered how that would carry over into the regular season. Well, wonder no more, because Butler and Wiggins are proving to be a match made in heaven.
Okay, maybe that’s taking it a little to far, but they are beginning to gel with one another on the floor. The two are hooking up more frequently than ever before, especially in the open floor.
