University of Minnesota football coach Jerry Kill made another big splash in the 2016 recruiting class Saturday by landing four-star Florida wide receiver Dredrick Snelson.
Kill, who arguably has put together his best class during his time with the Gophers, secured a recruit who had scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Southern Cal and Wisconsin.
Snelson, a 6-foot, 192-pound senior at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines, Fla., has been invited to play in the Under Armour All-American game next year.
ESPN recruiting ranks Snelson as the No. 96 prospect in the Class of 2016 and the 14th best receiver in the nation.
