The early signing period begins today for college basketball and the Minnesota Gophers are poised to sign 3 kids as part of one of the most talented classes we have seen in years.
The first to get his signed Letter of Intent into the Gopher Basketball offices is Jarvis Omersa (formerly known as Jarvis Thomas).
Omersa is a kid who has been described as versatile, athletic and explosive. He can defend most positions on the floor, runs the floor very well and is a freak in the paint with this rebounding and shot blocking.
His game compliments the other two members of this class very well and he has an excellent opportunity to be a major contributor immediately next year as he will fill a lot of the minutes left behind by Jordan Murphy.
