Gophers’ freshman running back Shannon Brooks was one of the standouts of the team’s mid-August scrimmage, with 16 carries for 91 yards as he worked with the second-team offense. He did not play in Minnesota’s season opener against TCU, but there are strong indications that Brooks will play against Colorado State on Saturday.
Expect #Gophers to play freshman running back Shannon Brooks on Saturday vs. Colorado State. Jerry Kill keeps on mentioning him.
