A three-goal third period helped Ohio State past Michigan, 4-2, Saturday in Columbus.
The Buckeyes finish the weekend two points clear of Minnesota for the top spot in the Big Ten standings. Taking all three points from Michigan helped OSU keep the Wolverines at a distance as well.
Michigan took a 2-1 at 8:48 of the third period. At that point, the Wolverines were just more than 11 minutes from a sweep of the Buckeyes.
What a difference 28 seconds can make.
