Minnesota State has been one of the most dominant teams of the decade. The monkey will always be on the back until it wins an NCAA Tournament game, something it hasn't been able to do in six tries despite numerous high seeds. It causes many people to question their regular seasons, too. But year after year, the Mavericks put up impressive seasons, and there really is no mistaking the quality.
Another chapter in those lines was written this weekend, as Minnesota State followed up Friday's tie with a 2-1 win over North Dakota on Saturday.
