In the only Big Ten league action of the weekend, Michigan scored twice in the third period and won in a shootout to earn two points, after a 4-4 tie through overtime.
The Wolverines lost a 7-3 decision Friday, but came out strong Saturday with two early goals. Wisconsin got the next three, including two from Linus Weissbach and took a 3-2 lead after two periods.
But Jake Slaker and Nick Pastujov had third-period goals for Michigan, only to see Wisconsin force overtime with an extra attacker goal by Cameron Hughes with 1:10 remaining.
