Garrett Raboin, an assistant coach a Minnesota the last four seasons, will be the first head coach at Augustana, the Grand Forks Herald is reporting today.
Raboin played four seasons as a defenseman at St. Cloud State (2006-10), and after a brief pro career, became an assistant coach under Bob Motzko at his alma mater. Motzko brought Raboin with him to Minnesota in 2018.
Augustana, located in Sioux Falls, S.D., is currently a Division II school, but is in the process of transitioning to Division I.
