"Nobody needs to know what we're doing with the quarterback from week to week," Kill told reporters.
What the Gophers did last week was remove ineffective Leidner in favor of freshman Demry Croft at the end of a 27-0 loss at Northwestern.
On Sunday, Kill said there was "no controversy" at quarterback, adding that Croft needs to get snaps as a backup, and that the coaching staff is looking for ways to get Croft more involved.
