It wasn’t necessarily the prettiest game in a historic night at Williams Arena, but Minnesota secured win No. 10 of the season with an 86-67 win over North Carolina A&T. The win was Richard Pitino’s 100th win as Head Coach of the Golden Gophers in his sixth season in Dinkytown.
Jordan Murphy was the star of the show on Friday night, scoring 30 points to go along with 16 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block. Freshman Daniel Otutu added 20 points and Dupree McBrayer added 13 more. The Gophers as a whole shot 45.9-percent from the field and just 60.
