North Dakota and Minnesota will play the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game in Las Vegas in October 2018, the schools announced today.
The game, officially hosted by North Dakota, will take place at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018.
The NHL recently announced the awarding of an expansion franchise to Las Vegas, making it the first major league to have a team there. That team will be playing at a different, and newer, arena.
“It doesn't get much better than this: a classic college hockey match-up between North Dakota and Minnesota in Las Vegas.
