Quarterbacks need to have a short memory. Especially when they don’t have a ton of experience.
For Nick Stevens – the reigning Mountain West Player of the Week – Saturday was a rough outing starting from the first play from scrimmage. The redshirt sophomore of the Colorado State Rams dropped back and unleashed a deep pass to Joe Hansley which was way off and easily intercepted by Minnesota’s Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
Stevens tried to shake it off but continued to play poorly for most of the first half, where he went 4-12 for a mere 9 passing yards.
