University of Minnesota tight end Maxx Williams might not have gone in the first round of the NFL draft, but he landed with a team that needs help at the position.
Williams was taken Friday night by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round with the No. 55 overall pick.
The redshirt sophomore left Minnesota with two years of eligibility remaining. He said it's a "dream come true" to be heading to the NFL and he will get his chance with the Ravens.
