The Minnesota Golden Gophers took care of business in beating up of a very overmatched opponent on Wednesday night. For their last game before a ten day finals break, the Gopher women beat up on Coppin State 84-52 in a game that honestly wasn’t even that close. Minnesota gave ample time to its entire bench and sat its stars for a majority of the second half as the Gophers cruised to a 10-0 start to the season.
Minnesota took a 29-19 lead after the first quarter. It was the most points they had scored in a quarter all season, buoyed by a 70.
