The Minnesota Golden Gophers Volleyball team split their opening road trip to open Big Ten play. A good defeat of #12 Ohio State and a close loss to #1 Penn State has the Gophers moving up the national rankings. Wednesday, the #16 Gophers will take on the Northwestern Wildcats to start their slate of Big Ten home games.
This last week, the Gophers changed things up. Instead of winning in straight sets, as had been their habbit as of ate, both games last week went the distance requiring a fifth set.
