It was a very long weekend thanks to the awful weather Madison, Wisconsin provided but when all was said and done the Minnesota Golden Gophers softball team defeated three opponents, and the elements to win the 2018 Big Ten Softball Tournament! The win is the third consecutive Big Ten Tournament title for Minnesota, and four of the last five. The Gophers will receive the Big Ten’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The pairings will be announced at 9PM on Sunday.
The Gophers took on #7 seed Wisconsin in Friday’s quarterfinal, and it will go down as a game to be remembered.
