The Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team has gotten off to a bit of a rough start this season with a young lineup. Minnesota enters this weekend’s home series with border battle rival Wisconsin with a 4-6-2 record including a 1-3-2-2 record in Big Ten play. Wisconsin hasn’t been much better entering the weekend with a 6-6 overall record, but just a 1-3 record in conference action.
