MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota center Reggie Lynch has been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual conduct on Sunday, according to a statement by the school. Lynch, a transfer from Illinois State who sat out last season due to NCAA rules on transfers, was booked into the Hennepin County Jail around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
As of Sunday evening, Lynch remained in custody, according to the Hennepin County Jail logs. He is being held without bail. Lynch has not been charged.
"Men's basketball student-athlete Reggie Lynch has been arrested on probable cause of criminal sexual conduct," the university's statement said.
