No one would describe the Minnesota Gophers offense as pretty, exciting or must-see TV. However, under Jerry Kill, this offense has been smash-mouth, in your face and effective. The combination of its offense and defensive philosophies working hand-in-hand have led to back-to-back eight-win seasons, so something is going right in Minneapolis.
However, the 2015 season is one of big time transition. There are long-time starters to replace along the offensive line, an NFL draft pick at tight end to replace and a record-setting running back gone too.
Safe to say the 2015 Gophers offense is going to look a lot different than it did the last few years.
