Six former Minnesota Golden Gophers were offered spots at NFL Rookie tryout camps in the next few weeks to try and win a training camp roster spot this summer.
The following players have received invites to the following NFL team’s rookie minicamps:
These minicamps normally contain the draft picks of the various teams along with the signed undrafted free agents and then a group of players brought in on rookie tryouts. In general only a few of the rookie players actually make it from the tryout to the training camp roster. However, it definitely does happen.
