The Minnesota Golden Gophers lost one quarterback in the last week, but P.J. Fleck and co. have added another with a commitment from Texas quarterback prospect Jacob Clark.
Even before Vic Viramontes decided to transfer after a semester at Minnesota, it was clear the Gophers were hoping to bring in two quarterbacks with this recruiting class. Clark, along with Cole Kramer, would appear to complete the pair. As the No. 24 pro-style quarterback prospect in the country according to 247 Sports, Clark is a solid addition at a position of (desperate) need.
