The Minnesota Golden Gophers were the first Power 5 program to offer South Dakota quarterback Jacob Knuth a scholarship — Iowa and Kansas State were quick to follow — and that seems to have paid off, as the signal caller committed to play for P.J. Fleck and co. on Saturday night. Prior to his commitment, 247 Sports is reporting that Knuth was also receiving interest from Northwestern, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Iowa State.
