Antoine Winfield, Jr., Kobe McCrary, and Mark Williams will return to return spring football practice after a final appeal to the university provost. The provost oversaw the university appeal process and ruled on Monday that Winfield, McCrary, and Williams would not face punishment for their involvement in an alleged sexual assault incident. Winfield and McCrary were facing one-year suspensions, but saw both punishments overturned in the initial appeal hearing. The provost upheld that decision.
