HATS OFF to Minnesota big man Jordan Murphy!
This is Murphy’s first B1G PotW honor and it caps a fantastic week for the Minnesota Golden Gophers forward. He averaged 21.0 points, 15.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game against Iowa and Rutgers. Against Iowa, he had a career high 25 points while also grabbing 19 boards. Against Rutgers he tallied another double/double (17pts/11reb). He finished the week shooting over 64% from the floor last week.
Jordan is the 2nd Minnesota player to be awarded the honor this season (the other was Nate Mason on 1/2/17).
