The Gophers lost to arguably the worst team in the Big Ten by eight points, calls for Richard Pitino’s ousting are growing louder, the team has played its way out of the NCAA Tournament field after being ranked as high as #16. So, I guess you could say it’s business as usual around here.
They now need to win out the rest of the way to even have a chance to make it into the tournament, which would mean winning twice on the road ... something they haven’t done yet this year. They are also missing their top defender and potentially their starting center.
