Gophers coach Richard Pitino didn't seemed too enthusiastic about their 47-game nonconference home winning streak when asked about it this week.
Pitino wondered how many of those victories happened under his watch. The answer was 18.
But he won't have to worry about it anymore after Minnesota's 85-81 double overtime loss to South Dakota in front of a shocked crowd Saturday at Williams Arena.
Jordan Murphy's clutch tip-in with 1.9 seconds left sent the game into the first overtime tied 59-59.
But Murphy, who finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds, fouled out with 4:35 left in the second overtime.
