The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Committee has announced this year's Hobey Baker Hat Trick — Bobby Brink, a junior forward from Denver; Dryden McKay, a senior goaltender from Minnesota State; and Ben Meyers, a junior forward from Minnesota.
All three will be at the Frozen Four in Boston next week.
The Hobey Hat Trick represens the three top vote getters from among the 10 finalists. There is no further voting. The winner is already known from among the three.
Two of the three were born and raised in Minnesota (Brink and Meyers) and two of the three play for Minnesota schools (McKay and Meyers) who incidentally, will be opposing each other in the national championship semifinal game April 7.
