Lindsay Whalen will always be considered one of the greatest -- maybe the greatest -- University of Minnesota women's basketball players of all time.
But her career scoring record for the Gophers is likely to be broken this year by senior guard Rachel Banham.
That's fine with Whalen, who scored 2,285 points from 2000-04. The veteran Minnesota Lynx point guard has an idea when Banham will get the 108 points she needs to become the school's career scoring leader this season.
"It's going to be three or four games," Whalen said with a smile.
