Late rally lifts Gophers men's hockey above .500

The Gophers entered the third period in an offensive rut, but then Justin Kloos did it again.

The team's junior captain scored on the first shift of a period for the second straight game, this time tying the score 1-1.

Kloos and his line came back again when Connor Reilly scored the game-winning goal 11 minutes later, and the Gophers ended up with a 3-1 victory over Michigan State on Saturday night at Mariucci Arena.

The win gave the Gophers (11-10, 6-2 Big Ten) their first sweep of the Spartans in Big Ten play, and put the team above .
