KJ Maye's college career could culminate with a game on his high school football field in Mobile, Ala. The wide receiver's breakout senior season with the Gophers has positioned him for a possible invite to the Senior Bowl at Ladd-Pebbles Stadium.
As a child, Maye watched Senior Bowl practices and games at the stadium. In 2011, that's where Maye starred as a dual-threat senior quarterback for Murphy High School. On Jan. 30, that's where he could audition for the NFL.
"Now that my dreams are coming true, and everything is right in front of me, it would mean a huge deal," Maye said.
