It wasn't enough to just have Rachel Banham return to the Gophers women's basketball team for a fifth season. She also had her own video halftime tribute in the first game since tearing her ACL last December.
The video showed the senior guard's highlights, including setting the University of Minnesota's all-time record for three-pointers last season.
A message flashed on the screen at the end that said, "Welcome back Rachel!"
Nearly 12 months after her college career appeared as though it might be ending, Banham was back Friday night, scoring 22 points in a season-opening 98-54 win over Wofford at Williams Arena.
