Former Marquette and Bloomington Kennedy guard Kenisha Bell announced Wednesday night on Twitter that she will transfer to the University of Minnesota.
"I will officially be attending the University of Minnesota next years thanks to all who have supported me through my decision," she wrote.
Bell, a 5-foot-9 freshman, was the second-leading scorer for the Golden Eagles last season. She averaged 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 29 starts.
She set Marquette program records for a freshman in points (434), made field goals (157) and made free throws (111).
