Gophers safety Damarius Travis injured his hamstring trying to block a Texas Christian punt in the fourth quarter of their Sept. 3 game, coach Jerry Kill told KFXN-FM on Thursday.
Travis was listed as questionable and one of the two starters at safety, according to the team's depth chart released Thursday evening.
Travis, who has played in 40 consecutive games, led the Gophers with 10 tackles against TCU. Junior college transfer Ace Rogers and sophomore Ayinde Adekunle are possible replacements for Travis.

The Gophers have sold their allotted 2,700 tickets for Saturday's game in Fort Collins.
