Gophers open Big Ten Tournament with a win!

The Minnesota Gophers opened the Big Ten Tournament with a 5-4 comeback win over the Indiana Hoosiers today. The win keeps Minnesota in the hunt for a B1G Tourney Title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.

The Gophers scored the game’s first run in the bottom of the first inning, as Toby Hanson knocked in team leading 52nd RBI of the season, scoring Terrin Vavra.

Indiana tied it up 1-1 in the top of the 2nd before scoring again in the top of the 4th to take a 2-1 lead.
