Gophers offensive line hurting for depth after Ben Lauer breaks hand

Gophers tackle Ben Lauer broke his hand during Wednesday's practice, coach Jerry Kill told KFXN-FM.

Lauer, who was working his way back from preseason knee surgery, is questionable for Saturday's game against Ohio at TCF Bank Stadium. Kill said there likely will be changes on the offensive line against the Bobcats, including possibly removing the redshirt status of freshman Tyler Moore.

Lauer started and was removed during the 23-17 loss to Texas Christian on Sept. 3. He was again ineffective in limited action as a reserve in last week's game against Kent State.
