The Gophers' ailing offensive line rebounded Saturday as Minnesota rushed for 204 yards and quarterback Mitch Leidner was sacked only once.
"We wouldn't have won the game if we didn't play better on the offensive line," Gophers coach Jerry Kill said after a comeback 27-24 homecoming win over Ohio. "Those five kids hung in there through the whole game."
The Gophers depth was further depleted before the game as backup left tackle Ben Lauer was out with a broken left hand suffered in practice Wednesday. He was listed as questionable on Thursday's depth chart, but was on the sideline in a brace Saturday.
