Michael Brodzinski, Justin Kloos and Connor Reilly scored third-period goals Saturday to lead the University of Minnesota to a 4-1 win at Notre Dame and a split of their weekend series in South Bend, Ind.
Eric Schierhorn had 28 saves for the Gophers (3-4), who scored the last three goals after the teams had battled to a 1-1 standoff through the first two periods.
Brodzinski broke the tie at 6:08 of the third when Taylor Cammarata found him open at the top of the circle for his second goal of the season.
Kloos made it a two-goal game with his first of the year -- a wraparound tally at 11:48 -- off assists from Tyler Sheehy and Jack Glover.
