The Gophers were so jubilant after a second straight overtime victory Saturday night they didn't even notice they left their hero out of the postgame mob on the ice.
Sophomore Leon Bristedt was on his knees on the outside of the celebratory huddle after scoring to give the Gophers a 5-4 victory over Ohio State at Mariucci Arena.
The Stockholm native was still ecstatic after the game, not only about the game-winner but because he scored it in front of his father, who was able to see him in person for the second time this season.
