The University of Minnesota men's basketball team released its 2015-16 season schedule Monday and will open the regular season against Missouri-Kansas City on Nov. 13 at Williams Arena.
The Kangaroos were 14-19 last season, but they finished second in the Western Athletic Conference and they have the conference player of the year, Martez Harrison (17.5 points per game).
The Gophers, who went 18-14 last season, play Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 15 at home before traveling to play in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off from Nov. 19-22. They will open against Temple in San Juan.
Six of Minnesota's last seven non-conference games are at the Barn, including against South Dakota on Dec.
