For the Gophers' defense, Saturday's porous performance in the 48-25 loss to Nebraska won't make for just one long week.
It will drag on for a fortnight.
With a bye coming Saturday, the Gophers will try to get over how they were stunned by a Cornhuskers team that racked up the most points against them since a 58-0 loss to Michigan in 2011.
"It definitely surprises you because you prepare really hard throughout the week to make those plays," Gophers cornerback Eric Murray said. "When you don't, it's just frustrating, mainly because you search for an answer for why.
