Gophers football: Jerry Kill attends first game since retirement

As difficult as it was for former Gophers football coach Jerry Kill to watch his team lose 31-21 to Wisconsin on Saturday, he at least got to enjoy a few moments.

It was his first time attending a game since retiring last month to manage his epilepsy.

No longer coaching is hard, but Kill joked that he could get away with saying the officiating against the Gophers has been terrible without any discipline now.

A large crowd of University of Minnesota fans chanted "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" outside of TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday to greet Kill at the Gophers' pregame show booth.
