Gophers football isn’t just for breakfast anymore.
Last year, Minnesota had six consecutive 11 a.m., kickoffs. But this fall, the Gophers are expected to play at least four primetime games.
Big Ten Network announced last week that it will televise the Gophers and Iowa in primetime on Nov. 14. And according to people familiar with the schedule, the Gophers are expecting to get three primetime games on either ESPN or ABC when those assignments are announced Thursday.
The three other games would be the Sept. 3 opener against TCU, the Oct. 31 game vs. Michigan and the Nov.
