Gophers senior linebacker De'Vondre Campbell was named Tuesday to the 51-player watch list for the Butkus Award given annually to the best linebacker in the country.
Campbell, of Fort Myers, Fla., had 75 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries in 2014. In 2013, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound outside linebacker had 41 tackles, three tackles for loss and one fumble recovery after transferring from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College.
