Gophers senior safety Damarius Travis, who has missed all but one game this season, might seek a medical redshirt for this season.
"That very well could happen," Kill said Tuesday during his media teleconference.
Kill said the training staff will wait and see how Travis continues to rehab from the hamstring he pulled on a final punt block attempt in a 23-17, season-opening loss to then-No. 2 Texas Christian on Sept. 3.
Kill said last Tuesday that Travis could return for Saturday's game against Nebraska, a 48-25 loss, but those plans were scrapped after Wednesday's practice.
