Gophers freshman quarterback Jacques Perra said Thursday he is exploring options to transfer schools.
Perra, the 2013 Pioneer Press high school player of the year from Roseville, said he could stay local in the MIAC or go to an FCS school.
"I'm just exploring right now," Perra said.
Perra was the third-string quarterback behind junior Mitch Leidner and freshman Demry Croft last season. The position will get more crowded this spring with the addition of Seth Green, a former quarterback of East Ridge High School who played his final high school season this fall in Texas.
