Gophers find little room to run against Nebraska

After averaging 276 rushing yards in their previous two wins over Nebraska, the Gophers were held to 65 in Saturday's 48-25 loss to the Cornhuskers.

And after 326 yards on the ground just last week against Purdue, the Gophers put up their fewest rushing yards since the 30 yards they had against Iowa on Sept. 28, 2013.

"There just wasn't anywhere to go, running the football," Gophers coach Jerry Kill said. "It was just hard sledding in there; they made it very tough."

Running back Shannon Brooks was limited with an undisclosed ailment in practice this week after rushing for 176 yards against Purdue last week.
